So, I've had it rough with the exploder but before I'm ready to give up and replace the 4.0 or rebuild it/have it rebuilt, I want to try one last shot with replacing the oil pump as I'm thinking is the problem now.

Long story short, I had a major oil leak a month back, which was repaired and some other issues. Now, when the car warms up and idle falls to normal, the oil light comes on. However, if you driven or just bringing the rpm higher, the light goes away. I'm thinking its the oil pump and maybe its on its last leg due to overtime work when the oil leak sprung.

I want to replace the pump, but have never done it on this motor before. Anyone have pointers, where to get the pump and I want something good, even maybe a high volume pump? Also, I need directions or maybe a diagram.

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance as always. :exp:
