Hi All,
I am in a bit confusion to understand the type of oil to be used for My Ford Explorer 2009 Model.
As per engine specs, it is mentioned that Motor craft 5W30 should be used for Ford explorer.
However, I am putting Mobile 1 0W40 in my vehicle and I believe it is good to go till 10,000 Km.
I need to know, is there any harm to continue with Mobile-1 0W40, Or should I switch back to Motor craft 5W30. Is my engine designed to carry Mobile1 0W40?
Weather conditions in my country is quite rough as I belong to Saudi, where most of the time ambient is 40+ degree C.
