At my wife's insistence I had OnStar MFV installed about a month ago. Left the car for 6 days and dead battery. Boosted, no problem. Last week same scenario. I assumed there was some problem with OnStar being always on. I took it back to Best Buy and sure enough the wires were crossed? and the OnStar was always on(green light on). Now the problem is corrected, and OnStar is tied in to the rear DVD power supply. OnStar has a backup battery. The OnStar system is supposed to cycle on for a short while every hour or so...I guess so the GPS will know the vehicle location.
