Ordered 2013 Ford Explorer XLT

hi everyone! My husband and I currently have a 2011 Ford Edge SEL which we LOVED! But needed more room, so that's where the explorer came in. We ordered it at the end of August and I have been calling and texting my sales guy and still no VIN yet!! They originally gave me a timeline of 4-6 weeks and without a VIN that means it hasn't even went into production yet. Can anyone give me any timeline? I'm just really ready to get into my new car and did I mention vacation is 10 days away?

Wife and I also ordered at the end of August (30th). I called my dealer earlier this week and he also said no VIN, but he expected the build to start this week.

We don't have a vacation to worry about, but it would be nice to get the Explorer in before the other car falls apart!
