Overdrive and cruisecontrol problem

Last year I changed the convertor from the automatic transmission(by a professional)because it was impacted by a rock.After changing it the cruise control and the overdrive did not work anymore.Any suggestions?Thanks

If I remember correctly, a bad brake switch (b.o.o?) Will keep the torque converter from locking, and will also prevent the cruise from engaging. Could be wrong, but definitely worth a check! Good luck with it!
