- 97 XLT 4x4 stock(for now)
Just got around to really checking over my newly purchased 97 explorer xlt when checking tcase and diff fluids all looked good and full but i did take a next step by overfilling with proper fluids i do this on advice from my mechanic i would not dare do this to tranny or crankcase as they are under a pressure situation but it seems to make things run smoother and quieter and as they are not under pressure it seems to have no harmful effects i have done this for 145000 miles on my 92 f350and was just wondering if anyone else has done or heard of doing this it works for me!
