Overhead console installed! Pics!

Do any of the years have a sunglass holder in that spot rather than a garage door opener? I'd be more interested in that. Also, just to make sure I understand, any of the years will fit a '94 E.B. and the colors for the 95 & 96 is blue and from those years up it's green? Thanks

I recently put one in my 94 X but it has the Garage Door Opener compartment instead of the sunglass compartment...I like YOURS better!!!!!!

The garage door opener compartment doubles as the sunglass holder. If you have an opener, then you can put it in there, but if not, you can put your sunglasses in there. The sunglass holder is just a little snap-in piece that hooks onto the little door that opens up. And I believe that you are right about the colors.

Hey Quick, did you ever get that how to typed up? I'm getting ready to install mine and the more info the better. Pictures of during the install would be nice if you have them.

Anybody know why I cannot access that Ranger page with the how to?

yeah, i cant access that ranger page either. my mom wants me to install a console in her 97 sport this summer. i have another question too: where do you get the sensor that actually detects the outside temperature (i think it mounts in the front bumper area?) and that "how to" would be great...if its still gonna happen, i know this an old thread.

ps: To get the outside air temp, 2 wires from the console harness need to be ran out to the grille/headlight area. In the junkyard, when looking for your console, don't forget to grab the sensor! It's about the size of a roll of nickels with a blue/white and a blue/yellow striped wires coming out of it.
Located next to the drivers side headlight, If i remember right...
