2005 XLT with sunroof. I am adding a homelink kit to my overhead console and was wondering how this thing comes off. I figured someone could help me with either experience or what the ford book says. Thanks.

On mine I had to pop open the furthest back compartment, (garage door holder thingy) and there were two screws in there that holds it up. I simply pluged the home link unit in, and popped it back where the garage door caddy door used to occupy. Yours will be different since you have the moonroof, but I'd guess you'll have to pop loose the furthest back cover that is in the console (not sure what it'd be) and remove the screws. Good luck.
