When I bought the truck, it came complete with an illuminated CEL for a P0153 O2 sensor bank 2 sensor 1 circuit slow response. Since then, the CEL has turned off (i have disconnected the battery multiple times, i know that resets it). I looked on the Torque pro app and got the voltages, seems to be switching from rich to lean as it should on that sensor but not steadily. Also got a high resistance on the sensor. About how long does it take for a code to reappear after resetting it if the issue isnt fixed (which it wasnt)? My truck shakes sometimes at idle (although I guess this could be related to the plug wires which need to be replaced) and my gas mileage is pretty bad. Also says the cat test can't complete (same result my mechanic got when I brought it to him for a pre purchase inspection with the CEL on). Advice?

I would replace the bank #-2 sensor #-1 since there is high resistance in the sensor & replace the spark plugs & the plug wires, & the fuel filter.

just did the plugs, wires and filter are next. Before I just throw an o2 sensor on there, what exactly is the procedure for resistance testing an o2 sensor? Do i need to back probe? because I just tested the terminals in the plug connector

I back probed the sig wire on the sensor. The haynes manual said i needed to connect the positive probe to the sig wire and the neg probe to a good ground with the ignition on. I got zero volts (should have gotten 450 milivolts). The sensor wires are all twisted, probably from the last installation. Here is the graph data from torque pro:
