Got everything put back together after replacing the manifold and resuring the bend fuel rail. One of the plastic clips broken on injector number 2. Now because it won’t stick into place the connector will not lock into place. Can I splice in a new electrical connector or do I need to get Whole new wiring harness from for or pick and pull?

Yea, plastic sure does get brittle with age. Not positive, but hopefully there's replacement connectors.
Or you could thread 22 gauge (or abouts) or zip ties thru the wires, and tighten it behind to lock it down.

One of my connectors to COP fell out and that's what I did. It's worked great for 3 years now.
Beats going to a pick and pull with equally brittle connectors.

Napa will sell me on for 15 bucks.

Great, that's what you should do then.
I always try to make do with what I have, that's all.
Great job on your project, BTW.

another question

I now get code p0171 running too lean. Does this have to do with #2 cylinder bring in unburnt oxygen in?
