The P0775 is really throwing me off. would like to know; if you get the P0775 with the P0732 & P0735, would the servo kit be enough..meaning... is the 775 causing the other two codes, or do I need to replace the Solenoid too?

The p0775 sol code is a companion code. It always sets with a gear ratio code. The computer flags the solenoid as a mechanical fault because the programming is such that the computer thinks it can raise line pressure enough to overcome the shift error time.

I would go after the overdrive servo first, if the servo is ok it could be a broken band.

thank you very much for answering. how can i test the servo? is there a way to do it? pressure/air test? How do i know if the band is broken? i saw that if i loosen the nut while holding the bolt (or vice versa?) i should only be able to turn no more than a few turns, but in what direction? and how do i get to the band, where is it? you think its a good idea to check and see if the band is broken before i invest any time into the servo?

sorry for the green questions - i have had many cars, none with transmission problems. this is my first run at one.. thanks again. the response was exactly what i need today!!!
