Hi, I was wondering if there was any way to remove swirls from the paint. I tried Meguiar's Swirl X and Turtle Wax's Polishing Compound and none of them worked. Any advice will be greatly appriciated.
For the best removal of swirls, you'll want to use an orbital or dual action polisher. I recommend the Porter Cable 7000 series (7424) with Sonus pads and polish. Autopia.org has some great tutorials on using the Porter Cable for swirl removal.
What about the Flitz polishing ball at http://www.flitz.com? I'm thinking of trying this on the tiny scratches around my fuel filler door and wondering if anyone else has already.
