Wow!! Great pics. I like your little tv set :)

the black looks 1000x better than the stupid grey. nice job.

Really nice. Good job, man.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Not bad for $20 worth of paint and a day of my time. Im happy.

Looks great!

How did you do it?

I got this paint from pepboys its called bumper and trim paint. I got the black gloss (its not that glossy). I pulled off all of the plastic trim. Cleaned them all with rubbing alcohol. Then lightly sprayed the paint on. I did four coats of the paint in the front and 3 coats in the back. I went to the car wash and it has been raining like crazy here and none of it has come off. Total time about 6 hours from start to finish.

Looks very good. Did you add any clear coat?

A funny side note: All of the pieces that I painted last year are either gone or replaced. My lower airdam is replaced by an aftermarket piece, the upper bumper trim piece was replaced by a factory black one from a Sport, my rear bumper was replaced by a rollpan, and my rear chrome splashguards were replaced by Limited ones that are body-colored.

With the paint I used it said I didnt need a clear coat. They still look like they do the day I painted them so I think im good to go.

Ummm Hartman where is this roll pan you are talking about?

Looks good.

I'm thinking about doing this + the bumpers (mine are painted that weird grey color) + the tupperware + the step bars (also painted the weird grey color).

I don't know when I'll ever get around to it though

Do you think you can explain how you did it??? i want to do mine ASAP.

I took off what I was going to paint. (If you need to know how to take certain things off pm me) Cleaned everything up with rubbing alcohol, scuffed it up a little bit with some sand paper. Cleaned shavings off with rubbing alcohol laid it on the ground and painted everything. I used this stuff from pepboys its called trim and bumper paint. I got the gloss black. Just follow the directions on the can. Here it is a month and a half later and it still looks like the day I put it on.
