Blake A, you're gonna herculiner the cladding and bumper covers? Make sure you scuff it up really good for that stuff to adhere to, use some medium sandpaper instead of the scoth-brite pads.
I think it will do okay, it says it will bond to anything from plastic to concrete and if it peels it will bond to itself too unlike rhino liner. I'm going to take some to the interior too. Just the radio bezel though. Had to buy a new one because my brackets broke off the old one so its already sanded.
Looks great. Really cool - sort of undercover, CIA, military look. The parts of the rack that are grey - can those be painted as well? I think I'd do the emblem mod and change it to flat black background from the OEM blue. OK, maybe that's a little too far.
I'm contemplating do that with my 96 X. It's the dark green and so I'm looking at the grille, bumpers, and the other bright work. Not sure - maybe. But either way, your's looks great. :exp:
Hey there, just wanted to bring this thread back up, I'm thinking about doing this to my Trac, you think that would look good on my Gold Trac with its stock rims? Just trying to get some opinions, Major Rhino's rig is pretty encouraging, but I'm not planning on getting a grille guard, black wheels, or all that other black accessories just yet..
But thanks, lemme know what you think
Alright thanks, so should I go with the Krylon Fusion? I don't plan on taking her anywhere serious where it would get messed up. Anyways, I'll get back to this thread after i put my BL on, this will be my next project. :
