Went out to paragon yestarday with the monthly ride. Best trip out there so far. As usual im not 100% sure what trails we were on. I know the afternoon took us through spare tire, boyscout and turtle. Turle was exceptionally fun as it was pretty slick.

anyway SurealNJ, next time post or drop me a PM before you come up to paragon. Also maybe talk about some urbex in the area at the same time. I have hit all the big places in south east PA and want to get to the stuff up here.
 






where is Paragon? i need a good place to take my truck off roading. i have been going in the pine barrens in NJ and warton state forest down by cape may. just looking for something new since now i have all my offroading mods on my babe =D
 






Man that makes me wanna take my 02 and test it out. I've always wondered how well the Advance trac will work in an extreme situation, where perhaps only one tire has enough traction to pull the weight of the truck. I guess part of me expects to be dissapointed.

I'm guessing your 05 has the off road package and inclueded the skid plates, I worry about tearing up the underside...
Did you get any water inside the truck thru the water crossings?

FordLover, its not all that much of a fan, bit it seems if i let it back down a bit and try with more power itll eventually get its way through.
Nope, no off road package, and no skidplates. Its just an xlt with the aperance package.
no water on the inside of the cabin, but the botom portion of the door, below the seal sure fills up with alot of mud and such

I hope you had all your breather lines extended after the dip in the water crossing..

unfortuneately for me i gotta work saturday.
Anything over like a green 2 id have to ride along on. I dont think its gonna be capable of much more than that.

Seriously thoug, Id like to snorkel it with extended breathers, although the snorkles are somewhere on my list of stuff to do somewhere after my waggy axles ;)
 






I'd recommend extending the lines and then flushing all the fluids. You don't want water tainted fluids in your axles, tranny, t-case, etc..

any idea wheres a good place to run the lines to?
 






run them up into the engine bay as high as possible
