Does the Explorer have a parking brake warning signal. I have a 2004 Explorer and my step son keeps driving with the brake on. I know there is a light showing him they are on, but on my GM if you drive with the brake on it dings at you?

Not in this generation. Newer models do.
If he's driven anywhere with the parking brake on, you probably need to replace the shoes. They aren't that substantial to begin with.
It's just a wire, you can get a bit creative with a relay and a buzzer - but if he's managing to ignore a bright red "BRAKE!" light on the dash and having to mash the gas pedal to the floor to move, I'm not sure he'll pay attention to the buzzer either.

We live on a Hill

I would agree, but our street and driveway both on hills.

So can I can a signal or current when it is put inot drive, then if the brake light is on, switch closed, and have current from being put into drive, I could set off a buzzer at that time?
