(PCV hose) Dorman universal alternative to motorcraft kcv235 ?

Hey guys, has anyone been through this...

The motorcraft pcv hose (small one by the intake) is going for like 140$ (115 on rock auto) insane for a 6” rubber hose.

Has anyone found a dorman or similar, universal hose, that they’ve been able to make work?

Wow, you're right. OE molded hoses are usually stupid expensive.
Googled 9L2Z6A664A alternate part number found on RockAuto's info page.

STILL crazy expensive, but a little cheaper.

Can you make one? Find something similar, put heat to it in order to shape it.

Since it's for emissions make sure you use a gas and ethanol resistant hose.Fuel vapors turn coolant hoses into mush in no time. What's the inner diameter?

Reusing the fittings I used Gates "Barricade" fuel injection hose to replace a deteriorating hose but it was only 3/8". The fiber reinforcement may also make it difficult to "mold" when heat is applied. Good luck.
