Performance enhancers ?

Hey all ! I'm new to the forum I have been looking and following a lot of guides and walkthroughs for over a year now ! And you guys have helped so much ! Now I've got a quick question. I now have a 97 sport (after crashing my 4 door) with a 4.0 ohv. As the title says I'm looking for a little things to enhance the performance.. I'm not looking to turbo charge or supercharge it. Just wake it up a bit.


So here's the things I've done..

K&N air filter
Cleaned iacv
Clean pcv
0w30 synthetic oil
Trans flush with mercon v
Trans filter change
Radiator
Top & bottom radiator hose
Coolant flush
K&N fuel filter
Thermostat
Seafoamed

Are there any other things I can do to improve performance ?

Would porting and polishing be worth it ? Or is the bbk throttle body the way to go ? And if I went with a aftermarket throttle body does that mean I would have to get a tuner ?
I would like to keep it as cheap as I can..

hey what k&n fuel filter did you use? i didnt know there was one for the explorer? im looking to get a new fuel filter and if k&n has one for a 2000 explorer i will go with that/ thanks!

really? did you find it on the shelf or did you have to ask at the counter for it? do you know the part #?
