XCal 3 is the most bang for your buck from what I've read. I haven't done anything other than a K&N drop in air filter and that's just because they're better filters, not because I expected performance.

+1 SCT XCal3 (3000). If anything, to firm up the lazy 5R55E shifting.
No miracles in the HP or mileage department, they're just a bonus.
Find an SCT tuner that will tweak the tunes for free, as you add mods.
