Pics of the new 26s I just bought.

They are the Diablo Elite 26s.....they got a 7 inch lip, and I will be putting them on my Explorer when the pollen eases up. These are just a few pics of them still in the box. I don't know if I'm going to paint the black inserts red like I did with my 24s or keep them black....

man!!! what size tires are you gonna use, for those 26's, man i have a 2002 xlt and i just found some 26's i may want to put on, don't know what tire size though to fit without raising the truck, somebody let a brother know, will have too join you on those 26's dude!!!!!!

I'm gonna use 255/30/26 tires....and since my truck is weighted down so much in the rear by my wall of subs and amps and batteries i have to raise it back up for the 6s to fit. I am also going to raise and cut a lil in the front. Everything should be on by the coming weekend so check back and I will have pics posted.

I think solid faced wheels look a bit better on trucks, IMO.

But its your ride do as you want right?

I like the look of the 24s better, mainly cause you didn't jack up the turck. Don't get me wrong its you're truck and everything, but to jack nit up like just to fit some 26 why? The 24s gave it a street truck look. This just screams ghetto banger now IMHO

I guess I should have been a bit more clear in my post, it is not my truck. It was an explorer down at MECA world finals in 08. Someone wanted to see 6's on an ex, so I thought I could show the pictures (Again). Also, as a few posters stated, it is someones truck, and not yours. The kid looked younger than me, (I was 21 at the time.) he wanted it done, and he loved it. His car, his choice. Thanks.

Im not really all that mad about any of it. But, I think I'm going to try something, every time someone shows a lifted ex with off road tires, im going to say that it looks ugly. I know people like different things, thats fine, I just dont see why going out of your way to bash another persons choice of aftermarket parts is necessary. As far as the stereotypes... That is also not really necessary. On a side note, I HATE country music.

i just don't know why he would lift it that much to put 6's on it? i got 4's on mine and can't wait to put my 2" drop on it cuz i hate the wheel gap in mine..

I always liked the look of your Ex. The wheels look wise are excellent to me but I'm sure the naysayers will come out of the woodwork. The main thing is you like them and that's all that matters. I admire people who dare to be a little different and not follow the crowd.
