yeah thats true too, ill probably just end up trying to get a new explorer or somethin in the next year, not sure if id be old enough lol

go with 05 or older though. They took all the fun out of the 06-newer....no aftermarkets...slow engine (V6)....and the traction control/awd (donuts are hard)

yeah, my mom just (well last year) got an 09' or 08' escape, that thing has so many effin safety features you CANNOT spin the wheels to save your life its ridiculous

ya. Im gonna do the Brown Wire Mod to disable the front wheels when I want to.

Or just pull out the driveshaft for the summer time....i wont need it.

do you have all time 4wd or somethin?

all the 06-newer have "Auto 4x4"...so right when the backs slip the fronts kick in.

It sucks...u have to have perfect timing to get a good donut in. PLus the traction controls kills the engine if u start to spin the wheels...so its impossible to race

ohhhh id HATE that, and yeah i think that traction control is just as dangerous as it is safe, i mean what if there was someone comin, bout to hit you and you need to get your ass and go, that just totally kill the engine its stupid, but that auto 4x4 seems like it would be nice in the winter, but id hate that any other time

the auto 4x4/traction is what made me nail the curb 2 weeks ago. IT killed the engine when I tried to gun it to pull it away from the curb.

If u spin out of somethin and ur backend is sliding..u would normally gun it to get control..u cant in this POS.

yeah, my battery went to s**t this winter, so my mom was out of town for a while and i drove her escape, i had to drive like a gramma cus if i drove like normal the trac control kept kickin in, i did like the abs though, somethin i dont have, but yeah sorry to hear about the curb lol did it do any damage?

Crack.. not rack! Woops!

Alrightt

That makes sense. Haha thanks for the clarification

Ya. It tore up the front and rear. Cracked left rear rim. Toe /camber all knocked out in the front

Bent the front and rear rotors. Did somethin to the front caliper (not releasing properly)

So its pretty bad..for a 15mph hit.

and I hate my anti-locks..i drove a dodge-1500 before i tore the tranny outta it....and being able to lock em up was the best thing ever...so much more control than teh damn anti-locks

dang ida guessed you were doin like 60 lol, but sorry to hear that hope you can get it all back to normal lol.

mine lock up nice, but in the winter i slide like a MF'er tryin to stop

looks good keep up good work

Looks good! But you need to replace that chrome tip with one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/02-09-Ford-Expl...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

That's what I have on mine:

Yaa. I definitly like that long chrome tip. I would love to just replace the pipe with stainless but that resonater messes everythin up

Just got tint done...

5% rear
15% front...

Dont lecture me on legality please...

That tip is stainless, not chrome. Easiest way to get the nice look since it bolts on.

tint looks good!

I was wondering if there is a way to re-rout the exhaust along the running on the underside ? Like the old sidepipes from the 60/70's. I assume you would have to have rectangular pipes from the bottom of the exhaust and below the frame rails and round after that ?
