pioneer speakers

Just bought an 03 ST xlt and putting in a new stereo. The issue is I'm getting conflicting information on the Pioneer TSD6802R speaker. Will they fit in my ST? And if so any mods needed? Thanks

According to Crutchfield's website, whom I got my new speakers from and have had success in the past with says that they fit.

Thanks for your quick response. I talked them last night and they say they're too deep, they are not. UPS delivered them today so I took a chance and they fit. No problem and they sound great. Makes me a happy guy.

I actually bought a pair of those about 4weeks ago and put them in the rear doors. The do sound decent for the cost I would suggest putting some Dynamat or comparable product in your doors. They sounded decent when I put them in at first. The following week I put sound deadening in the rear two doors. And it improved the sound quality a great deal as well as helping to address some road noise issues.
