So for new years a few friends and i are heading up to Northern California, but on the way there or back we might stop by Pismo for a night. It would be either Dec. 28 or 29, or Jan. 2 or 3. I know it'll be really cold at that time but i figure while i'm passing by i might as well go, and if anyone is interested then come along. Plans aren't set in stone yet though.

cant go to pismo. but if your up by sac im in for some wheelin.

I'll keep that in mind. I'll be in Sonora for new years and stopping in SF for a day on the way there or back, it looks like a good distance between Sac and Sonora, do you know how far it is?

And bump for anyone else?

Might help to nail some firm dates here.....

Ya, you're probably right, my group is unsure of dates as of now, i presume the whole trip would be kinda spur of the moment. But i thought if anyone on here could choose a date, we'd plan around that.

If we go it will be the 29th, camping on the beach that night.

Ya, if it ends up raining then we probably wont be going, not a big deal i guess.

Bump. It looks like it will be sunny, a high of 64 and low of 44.

What kinda car will you be in? If my group decides to camp we could still meet up for a campfire or whatever, we don't have any special plans.

Hitting the beach tomorrow for a bit, but wont be camping.

...Was it sunny and warm up there???...

Just got back from my trip, drove 1047.3 miles. But pismo was great! It was sunny and about 72 degrees i think, minimal wind. And it was pretty empty too.

Haha, it's about time you come online again. My buddy decided to combine offroading and snowboarding at once at pismo.

any video of the end result ?

Not on my camera, i'll see if it can be posted because i dont think it was a digital camera. It didn't really turn out too well, he said it took a huge amount of upper body strength just to keep the board under him, and i only went about 15 mph tops before he let go.
