anybody got any great advice about how to get the pitman arm off. Both bolts are removed, but even prying doesn't seem to budge any of it.
I also can't get the top stud/bolt off of the radius arm because I can't get a socket on it, and I don't have an open end wrench big enough (1-1/8th I believe) I also want to try not to destroy my steering box in the proces.

Something tells me that's not gonna help me get the 1-1/8s bolt off the upper side of the radius arm.
that looks like a neat tool, wish I had one.

I also found out new spindles are going to run me 250 a piece at the dealership. ouch.

You'll need to rent a pitman arm puller like pictured above. Otherwise you can spend all day hammering on that thing and it won't ever come off. Pitman arms are a *****.

huh? i dont think we are talking about the same part ... the radius arm has nothing to do with the pitman arm....
