Im brand new here but i thought i should post my ideas because i might need some guidance
this is my 2000 2nd gen explorer xls and rn i need to buy some new tires probably gonna end up being the toyo open country A/T 3 pretty good all terrains. Than i need to buy a new trans and transfer case which will be a bit pricy as well. once its running and driving i will buy a roof rack and light rack because you cant ever have enough lights. and eventually buy a rear bumper tire mount swing arm type thing. and maybe eventually lift it more i already have a 3" lift so it isn't needed any time soon

If you need a trans and transfer case I’d buy a donor V8 and swap it. If you’re going to be hard on it you’re gonna end up burning up another trans and t case.

Sure don’t look like 33s.

Welcome! Not a bad rig! I do agree with @Mbrooks420, should just V8 swap it if ya need to do the trans and t-case anyway, you'd be replacing 2/3 of the swap anyway. I never got the chance to go too crazy light wise on mine, just had some auxiliary reverse lights and a front 20" lightbar, but I did have the roof rack (was long enough that it took up the whole roof) and such on 32x10.5r16s. Was a nice setup for both trailing, mudding, and camping in.

since the last time i posted ALOT has changed. I got a transfer case, transmission, fly wheel, clutch, inner+outer tie rods, sway bar end links, upper control arms, lower ball joints, front and rear shocks, pads, rotors, callipers all the way around, plugs n wires, a wash, and some 31x10.5 r15 Goodyear wrangler authority's, and a wash. Got it driving for the first time in 16 and a half years runs and drives great. Gonna be completely finished hopefully by this Saturday when i finish bolting the exhaust together.
