Can someone please tell me if the inertia switch is covered up in a 2003 ford explorer sport trac? I have vinyl/rubber flooring and recently had my truck diagnosed with a tripped inertia switch. When i picked up my truck, I noticed a part of my flooring was cut away, exposing the inertia switch. Is it normal practice to cut the floor? Or was it already cut and maybe I just didnt notice? Please help before I go to the shop it was worked on in and demand a new floor!
