My lenses, like every older Ford with plastic headlight housings, yellowed with age and I want to make them look new again. What are you guys using to polish the headlight and turn signal housings on these trucks?

I've used just your regular buffing compound and a high speed buffer. It worked pretty good for me. I haven't heard any bad things about doing it that way.

autozone sells some sort of de-yellow'izer - not sure what it's called nor have i used it...i bought new headlights when mine yellowed, and shortly thereafter bought diamond clears...

I used buffing compound on my old ranger. It worked fairly well. Definately cheaper then new lights. I have not tried the restoring stuff they make for plastic.

I wetsand with 1500grit and follow that up with some Blue Magic metal polish. Then a coat of wax. Works real good.

I like Meguiars Mirror Glaze Plastic Polish.

We use that at our shop. It works quite well.
