Just recently I noticed that my 93 XLT wasn't locking me out any more (the aftermarket alarm likes to do that from time to time) so I tried pushing the switch and nothing from any of the switched or the alarm any ideas?

Does anyone know where the control module for the power door locks is?

i have a haynes manual, but i need soem more information.

are they the stock locks you mean? they aren't locking? or what?

make sure the fuse isn't blown and the switch isn't locked up

there the factory locks and they are no longer locking from any of the switches nor the alarm (it can also lock the doors) im not sure where the fuse is located (I dont have a manual so i can look up witch fuses go where)

okay, i'm about to look into my manual.

so im' going to look up where the fuses are, any potential relays, and anythign concerning the power locks. gimme a few minutes.

okay, according to my haynes manual, there's only one fuse related to the power lock system. it's in the fuse box in the engine bay. when you lift your hood, it'll be to the left, the box next to the air intake and battery. it's a rectangle shape.

also, it said that the power lock system was hooked into a 30 amp fuse, maybe that's blown. might also want to look where the alarm is hooked into, and see if it blew the fuse to what it's connected to (if it is)

Nope. all the fuses are good. I'm thinking either the module is bad or just needs to be reset... something similar happened on my 00 accord and all i had to do was reset the module... any ideas on how to do that on these?

if i'm not mistaken the module maybe behind the rear left interior panle...or maybe thats the remote module for the locks (stock remote control / anti-theft) .

maybe to reset it instead of gutting your interior...just unhook the neg batt cable and let it sit for 30 minutes see if that dont power down any live memory modules that are seeing power ....just a thought

you say the fuses were good

So you removed the suspect fuse and sanded the contacts and fuse, right
