Going to use the turkey baster to change out the power steering fluid. Since Mercon is no longer made, is it safe to use Mercon V or is a Dex/Mercon the better choice?

Mercon V ATF. I've used the turkey baster method (a full flush is better) but if you do it a couple of times over a couple of days, the baster method seems to works well enough.
