Fill reservoir to specified level. Run engine untill operating temp. (165*-175*) Recheck fluid level, top off as necessary. With engine running turn steering wheel from stop to stop untill decreases and no bubbles are present.
(DO NOT hold against lock. This creates extreme pressure and may damage pump.)

93-01 (May apply to later models)

First step repeat above step.
If whine continues apply vacume to opening of power steering resivour. This can be done with a #11 rubber stopper with tubing plummed into the stopper. Attach to source of vaccum (AC pump is suggested) DO NOT use engine vacuum. Make sure fluid level is far enough away to no be ingested. Start engine let idle for about 15 minutes. Turn the steering wheel every 5 minutes to aid removal of air.
Remove stopper, check fluid level.

good information. What's your source?

i had to blead a panger a few weeks ago. after our "diagnostic specialist" had me replace the pump and rack (for no reason). anyway, one thing i learned in the process is when you think you have it blead, do the whole process again. it really takes some time to get all the air out, and everytime you think you did you find more air.
patients is key
