Power window mystery 2Dr Sport

The driver's side power window on my 2dr. Sport will only roll down about one-fourth of an inch at a time. It will roll up without a problem. The motor is good because at times the down position will catch and roll the window down several inches.

I have swapped the passenger's side window switche on the panel with the same result.

Is this the infamous "one-touch down" relay that has gone south? On the '93 is it in the auxiliary panel or the door?

Any clues will be appreciated.

My 94 Sport had the driver side window go down by itself. Seems the window brain in the door panel, above the inside door light was bad. Black box with a date code on it. Got another at the bone yard for $10.

I believe its called the window control box. Its the thing that gives you the auto roll down window and when it breaks it does exactly what you're describing. Like walter I've had one go out on me too.
