99 explorer 2 door sport
Have a 99 explorer 2 door and the window in the drivers door quite working. The window on the pass side works fine and the power seat works, so it is not a fuse problem, I have checked them anyway.Got new master door switches from junk yard and still no work. There is no power to the switches so i saaume the only thing to look into is the wireharness in the door. not electrical by nature and really do not know what to look for.
Has anyone had any experience with this problem and could anyone please pass on any ideas

You say there is no power to the switches, but the passenger window works? If you have power to work the passenger window, you should have power for the drivers window.
The motor could be shot. Take off the door panel and run 2 wires from the battery directly to the motor. Switching negative and positive will make the window go up or down. If your motor doesn't work with this direct feed, it's time for a new one.
