Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows where the best place to run a power wire through the firewall of a 2007 Ford Explorer XLT?

why certainly,,, right where the brake pedal goes through the firewall there is a rubber grommet,, i usually push a star screwdriver through the rubber, and than feed the wire through the hole, it comes out the front behind the brake booster

welcome to the forum,,

Hey thanks! I'm not sure if I'm in the correct place but behind and above the brake pedal there is a soft grommet-like object where the brake line goes through but I cant quite tell if this goes all the way through the fire wall because a little higher up, the steering wheel goes through the firewall. I took a picture but cant figure out how to upload on here yet. Thanks for your help.

either one will work, the steering grommet is easiest to find on the engine side though
