Good evening fortuitous fellow Exploristas. (groan) I'm having a main power problem in my '99 4dr 4x4 sohc model. Checked fuses, pulled panel and with Power Probe attempted alternate current source at main switch, also no go. Locks and mirrors are ok, Is there a Body Control Module that could be the culprit, and where is it located? As I have no power to ANY of the windows I must also consider the broken wire theory, but any reference points you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Did you check for power and ground at the switch? I've seen the wires brake in the door jam accordion.

Did you check the fuse in the power distribution box under the hood. I had a short in the power feed wire going to the windows and it would blow the fuse in the power distribution box. PITA to find & fix. Had to remove the driver's door and all the wiring inside the door to find the offending wire.
