When I use the power door lock feature to lock the doors, using either remote or door switches, the passenger side hesitates acting like it doesn't want to close. It will finally close but with that hesitation. Unlocking is fine. No hesitation. This hesitation only occurs with locking the doors.

Searching for this problem came up with no matching results. Any ideas?

Actuator most likely, do a search for "door lock actuator" and read thru the results, I replaced mine on my 97 with a generic one, I think I paid ~ 6 dlls for it vs whatever ford would have charged for an oem one

Thanks. I did a search and saw how to replace the actuator. Looks like a project for next weekend.
