I am used to just pulling a fuse from the fuse block and wrapping the wire around one end and shoving it back in there.
I have three wires that go to the fuse block, one for the radar detector, aux. light power, and aux. light switch power. I tried to clean this up by putting mini-blade fuse taps in there and then connecting the wires. When I turned it back on, I didn't have blinkers. It turns out that the fuses are really touchy about how much pressure is on them and at what angle. For some reason replacing the fuse, even though it wasn't blown. I ended up running a direct power wire from the battery hooked to a relay that uses the power antenna wire from my aftermarket radio as a turn on signal.
Can any of you tell me which fuse on the fuse block goes to the auto-dim/auto-light rearview mirror? It isn't getting power and I can't find which one it is. I may just end up replacing every fuse.
