Problems starting

Dear forum, i am new to this site and joined cause i am having a problem. I got a 94 explorer xlt.... My problem is from last wk i been having problems starting my car, the car cranks gets full power, i took out the relays for fuel pump and the electrical one, cleaned them off. And it seamed to start after that?? Why i dont know but i did that twice since last wk and i didnt have this problem all the time, now it seams when its a cold start i have no problems starting it then when i drive around alot on a hot day then try a few mins later its doesnt start i wait awhile and it starts agian??? Only suggestion i heard was maybe its the modulator for high and low ?? I'm not sure what that is though, and suggestions is welcome thanks for the help!!!

No start situations can be a real PITA to solve.

I am having the same problem with my 94 XLT. Just wondering what you did to fix the problem. It has even shut off on me twice while driving, two seperate times. Started back up right away though. Just looking for any help I can get on this. Thanks for looking.
