Program Remotes for Keyless Entry?

Does anyone know how to program the remotes for a 2006 Mountaineer? I tried the instructions in the sticky "All you need to know about keyless entry" for up to 2001 models and it didn't work.

If I'm not mistaken, the instructions should be in the owners manual....they are for my 06 Explorer.
