From the back, they look exactly like the Winjet/Spyder projectors I got for my 2007 fog lights. They are not bright at all, at least not with the stock bulb...
 






I have that same set in my ex. I'm happy with the light output, they're decently bright with the included 35w bulbs and mount in the stock location. However, half of one of the halos burnt out within a few months, and after about a year one of the glass covers cracked in half. They're also bad about getting moisture in behind the glass covers, between the cover and the projector lens.
 






Do you think you could put in 55 watt bulbs, or would it melt them?
 






They're not vented and the bodies are fairly thick, so there would be considerable heat build up inside them, but I'm not sure about melting.
