Hey guys im in the last step of pulling the motor in my 01.5 explorer sport with the 4.0. The writeup i was following showed a disconnect for the trans wireing harness behind the motor but mine is a solid harness from the motor all the way back to the trans and even the 3rd o2 sensor.. is this right? Do i need to unhook and pull the entire harness or am i missing something?

pull the entire wire harness with motor?

some years are different. if yours has no connectors, you can either unhook everything from the motor, or unhook everything from the trans and 02 sensors. i have always unhooked the trans, then when i was ready to drop the motor back in, fished it back to the trans. to me, there is less to unhook.
