Hello all, I'm in the market for a 06/07 and curious about the quad seating setup. None of my local dealers have one with this seating so I haven't been able to see it 1st hand. Do the 2nd row captain's chairs fold down flat if I wanted to haul something? I'm guessing not but would appreciate the real scoop. What about accessing the 3rd row...does the 2nd row tilt foward to get back there?

Thanks!

They dont fold completely flat there is a slight angle to them. its not that bad ive had long stuff in the back and never had a problem fitting it.
And yes, the seats flip up to get to the third row.

i have them and they are great. much more comfortable than the bench seat. same versatility as the bench. not many dealers have them, usually something that has to be specially ordered. my kids love them and with the console they have a place to store the headphones for the dvd player.

Thanks for the quick replies!

I think I'm going to have to see them in person to know how much room is behind them with the 3rd row down. I love the idea of having reclining comfortable seats for passengers....but...I move every few years for my job and I always have a truck load (in my current X) of stuff that the movers either won't take or I don't won't want them to touch. I usually distribute the cargo weight so I don't overload the rear in combo with my trailer tongue weight. Without a flat 2nd row, I might be "driving up hill" with all the weight in the very back.

Thanks again!

while they dont fold 'completely' flat there is still plenty of room. We moved family and had the seats folded and the truck totally loaded to the roof as well as a 10ft trailer full of furniture and refrigerator and furniture in tow. It worked great.

That's encouraging, thanks!

The major turn off for me actually was the console. That way people could just get in and "mosey" their way back to the third row. (More for kids then adults) Also if an adult sat in the third row and there was no console they could then put their feet towards the middle for additional foot room. Just IMO thoughts!
