I have a D2 axle code which I read means I have 4.10 gear ratio. I know nothing about gear ratios so my question is this: will running 32's or 265/75/16 kill my fuel economy/power?

From what I've read it seems like these are good gears to have for that tire size but I couldn't ever find a direct answer. I have WAR 153 shackles and a 2"TT so I think they should fit...

Thanks for any help!

I have 4.10s with 32" tires and its great. Just get a tuner with a tune to reprogram the tranny shift points and speedo and you'll be golden.

Did it effect your fuel economy at all? From what I've read it seems like 31's are the ideal size for 4.10, which I think means it would get slightly better mpg, so 32's might bring it back down to where it is presently with stock tires? Or am I way off in thinking this?

I dropped a couple mpg, but its not a big deal.
