Question about engines vins

Okay, I have a question for anyone who might be able to answer it. Most websites that sell accessories and such for the Explorer narrow it down by engine classification. The three options are typically 4.0L V6 OHV, 4.0L V6 SOHC, or 5.0L V8 (obviously). Well I've been to some sites (like Advance Auto Parts for example) in which the three choices are 4.0L V6 VIN E, 4.0L V6 VIN X, or 5.0L V8. I have the SOHC engine in my '99 and was wondering which one of the VIN's coinsides with my engine type. :scratch:

This might seem like a pretty dumb question to some, but I appreciate any input.

E=sohc, x=ohv, the other is the 5.0

Yeah I figured that much out haha (about the 5.0). Thanks for your help, that makes life a little simpler.
