Is there anyway to hook up the factory cd changer to an alpine head unit that has a changer control built in?

Unfortunately, no.

Actually, yes.

You can use an FM modulator I believe. I am not sure if it will work with the factory one, but it works with just about all other ones. It will sound like crap, but it should work.

But he's asking if he can hook up his factory changer to his aftermarket HU. I think what you're talking about is the other way around. Plus, I do not believe there's a company makes a plug for a factory changer to hook up to an FM modulator.

Actually, yeah, ur right. That was my first misgiving was I was not sure how it would hook up to it, since factory plugs are weird. But also there would be no way to control it.

Sorry pal, honestly though, if your hu supports mp3 cd's, just burn one of them with 10-12 cd's worth of stuff and use that whenever you feel like flipping between stuff.
