So, I hadn't seen this asked per se. Maybe I missed it, i duno.
My gals X is sagging.. and I've a F150 rear section previously slated for pickup bed trailer conversion. I'm thinking of trashing it and keeping the springs for "the swap" we hear so much about.
Folks, her springs are BAD. So bad, I wonder if I really should even use the X main leaf for the swap.
Has anyone established any rule of thumb or anything about the quality of the main spring?
Sorry, I only got to nab these pics before she pulled out for work.
(and going to see if the attach thingie works right fer me..heh)
Use them or lose them? any thoughts or guidelines?
