Question on door lock tumbler

I have a messed up door lock (On outside of door) & the key wont go in. Can i buy another lock and key it to match the other door and ignition. If so, where do i buy another lock and how do i key it. Thanks

you can go to a wrecker and get one. any locksmith should be able to recode them. i have done that before, and they have charged me about $10 to do it. just bring them the old one, and the new one, and they should be able to do something for you.
