Questions on hooking up LCD screen

Hey guys, I'm thinking about purchasing a small 5 inch LCD montior for my truck. I have a few questions though. How would I go about hooking up the LCD screen and a DVD player up to my HU? Would I send a wire from the DVD player to the "audio in" connector in my HU and send the video cables from the DVD directly to the LCD screen?

Please, someone shed some light on this for me.
