Since all I can do for a while is wait, and read about the new Limited Explorer I've ordered
I've thought of a few questions I was wondering if anyone knows the answer too.
1) Rain Sensing Wipers - I've read that moisture detection is what controls these. So here's the scenario I've thought of. With Remote Start, and living in the Upstate NY, what happens if the Ex is parked outside with a good bit of snow on it and I remote start the vehicle to warm it up? Assuming I've set the rain sensing wipers to be on, will the snow's moisture be detected and will the wipers try to start - likely breaking since they can't move due to snow?
2) With the 3rd row seat up, I read a review the other night that mentioned about a foot recess (below lift gate level) for added storage. The Limited models I looked at, if I recall, only had a drop of maybe 4-6" and then the spare tire could be seen under that. Is that the normal drop, or is the article I read stating 1 foot on par? At least 1 of the models I looked at I know had the tow package. I'm not sure if that matters and models without it might have more room behind the seats.
3) On the models with MFT and the USB/SD hub. Is there a basic aux input that can be used to connect an MP3 player? I love the idea of the USB ports, especially to charge phones and players, but I'm not sure how much I'll like using MFT to access all my music. We have a number of Microsoft Zunes in the family, and love the interface. If there was an Aux input, if worse came to worse we could just control music the way we do now in the Odyssey.
4) Is anyone else who has an Ex on order second guessing their order? I can't wait until this thing gets scheduled to be built, because I'm reading stuff online every day about the Ex, and since everyone has a different take on it, mostly all good, I find myself constantly wondering if I should have ordered something different (i.e. trailer tow just to be safe, but no, then maybe I don't get a spare), bucket seats to get the power fold (but then no extra seat for a 7th passenger - we have a family of 6), etc. etc..
Thanks all,
Sean
