I have a MTX 4004

http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/archive/mxaAmps/mxa4004.cfm

50 Watts RMS x 4 channels at 4 Ohms
100 Watts RMS x 4 channels at 2 Ohms
200 Watts RMS x 2 channels bridged at 4 Ohms

And 2 Sets of Alpine Type-R SPR-13S

http://www.crutchfield.ca/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=500SPR13S&Show=TechSpecs

100w RMS
300w Peak
4 OHM

right now they are wired normally, so each speaker is getting 50RMS

I'm wondering how I wire them to get 100 RMS at 2 Ohms for each speaker

I just wire both + to the top + terminal, and both - to the top + terminal right??

I started to think about it too much and now am doubting myself lol.

thx lol :D

If you want 100 Watts to each 4 ohm speaker, you'll need an amp that puts out 100W RMS to each channel at 4 ohms, or get new speakers that have a 2 ohm impedance.

You can configure 2/4/8 ohm subs in series and parallel configurations to change the load on the amp and get different amounts of power, but it's not done with speakers unless it's a really ghetto setup. Most speakers also run at 4 ohms for effeiciency and sound quality.

ah so its not possible :( thx anyways
