quick connect wont reconnect?????

The quick connect fitting from the clutch master to slave cylinder will not reconnect! My slave and master both failed the other day and after replacing them both no i cant reconnect the fitting. ( yeah dropped the tranny and everything went smoothly until i want to reconnect). any ideas the clips in side the slave seem fine. it just wont click in!

Is the white collar still there?

yeah everthing is still there and un-damaged

oh well i got it. the o ring that came with the slave cylinder was too big i just replaced it with the old one and snap....
